Labubu is a character created by Kasing Lung, a Hong Kong-born artist, as part of his “The Monsters” series, a Nordic mythology-inspired picture book for children. Labubu, an “elvish creature,” is known for her mischievous grin and kind-hearted nature, often accidentally making things worse. She is romantically linked to Tycoco, a vegetarian skeleton monster, and is distinct from Zimomo, the leader of The Monsters.
